JHS Alumni Association Announces Officers

The Jordan High School Alumni Association announced today that the following people have been appointed to the Board of Directors.  Stephen W. Barringer, '81, will serve as President.  Molly Harp '67, Treasurer with Peggy Lee, '69, Janet Turyn, '70 and Donna Backshall, '82 as alumni representatives.  Richard Webber, JHS principal will serve ex officio and George W. Miller, III, '83 was appointed Association Counsel with Kim Anglin as outside auditor.

The Association is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization whose purpose is to expand the impact and outreach of the JHS Alumni community to the school.  For years, the organization has funded a variety of needs at the school from technology to athletics.  The establishment of the David Green Teaching Award in March is the most recent initiative undertaken by the association.
